User Interface and Navigation

An overview of the AttackLens user interface and how to navigate through the platform.

Layout

The interface consists of three main areas:

Sidebar Navigation

The left sidebar is your main navigation. It contains links to all major sections of the platform. Click the hamburger icon to collapse or expand it.

Top Bar

The top bar contains:

• Menu toggle: Collapse/expand the sidebar
• Getting Started: Quick access to the onboarding guide
• Theme toggle: Switch between light and dark mode
• User menu: Access your profile, settings, and logout

Content Area

The main area where pages, lists, detail views, forms, and visualizations are displayed.

Main Sections

Dashboard	Overview of your security posture with key metrics
Assets	Manage discovered assets and asset groups
Findings	Security findings from policy evaluations
Vulnerabilities	Known vulnerabilities in your software inventory
Attack Graph	Visual attack path analysis and exposure management
Inventory	Software and configuration inventory per asset
Policies	Compliance policies and their evaluation status
Rulesets	Security rules used in policy evaluations
Discovery	Cloud adapter connections and discovery snapshots
Sensors	Endpoint agents for local discovery
Settings	System configuration

Dark Mode

Click the theme toggle icon in the top bar to switch between light and dark mode. Your preference is saved automatically.
